Velocity Performance Products Re-Calibration Procedure
Occasionally this procedure is required if something goes wrong with the original calibration procedure and its related to the accelerator pedal being partially depressed and not on the top stop when calibration procedure is started or the buttons being released at the wrong time in calibration process.
Key on Engine off
Press and hold the 2 outside buttons down, after 5 seconds the indicator LED’s will slowly start to count up from 1 to all 5 being illuminated, when all 5 are illuminated release the buttons at this point the LED’s should be back in chase mode
Note: old versions of the firmware the LED’s will not count up to all LEDS are illuminated the LED’s will go immediately into chase mode when both buttons are pushed simultaneously
- MAKE SURE YOUR FOOT IS OFF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND ITS UP AT THE RELEASED STOP POSITION
- PUSH AND HOLD BOTH THE UP AND DOWN BUTTONS BEFORE PRESSING ON THE ACCELERATOR
- PEDAL THEN WHILE BUTTONS ARE PRESSED PUSH THE ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOOR
- RELEASE THE 2 BUTTONS WHILE THE ACCELERATOR IS STILL TO THE FLOOR
- AFTER YOU RELEASE THE BUTTONS REMOVE YOUR FOOT FROM THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL
Only the first LED should be illuminated at this time
Start vehicle, and you are done
